Some Hawaiian Inspiration

I'm taking a break from being a mature, responsible adult and spending a some time in Hawaii with my DSIL. While sampling the local cuisine and breweries, I have found some inspiration that I thought I'd share.

2010 JPP Scholarship Exhibiion

Wendy Butler Burns has posted her 2010 Exhibition on her website for all to see so here is the link.

I have written to the Special Exhibits people at Houston about sizes/numbers/deadlines etc but haven't heard back yet. Will let you know when I do.

I'm nearly home!

I've made it back to Hobart and I should be back home in about an hour.  I've been at work since 10am and I really can't concentrate.  At about 2 this morning I had a brainwave for my quilt!  Do you think I can remember what it was?  No!  I think it had something to do with Lisa's garden but I'm not sure.

Thank you all for making me feel so welcome!  I learnt a lot!

I think these are the paints that I did the writing on my collage quilt. They are called Tulip Slicks I think. Has anyone seen them here in Aus?

Couldn't sleep

last night because I kept dreaming of my quilt. I can visualise it in my mind's eye and I already know what it will be called. Let's see if it turns out anything like I imagine.
